took only one day of mc last friday and got back to work this morning and nearly worked myself to death.
i'm serious!
but of course, the nice colleagues i have asked if i were better and the usual 'hope you get well' well wishes and yup, they've guess. i had food poisoning.
apparently my supervisor was kind enough to help me handle my pay and even gotten my manager to sign my time sheet in advance. our pay allocation accordin to certain dates is abit confusing.
anyway, i've stocked my cabinet with some wangwang biscuits knowing it'll come in handy somehow. it did.
i had to do piles and piles of paper work today ranging from shipping invoices to updating of databases, to emailing notifications and sending of files and checking of files and checkin of programs against servers and creating program lists and updating notifications and my gawd i didn't even have time to eat!!!! yeah i skipped lunch. nibbled on wang wang while i busied away.
i wasn't in a mad rush with my paperworks just that i'm constantly handling something.
i hate goin into the subtitle room. i have something against it cos everything i have to do inside e.g. load files, check stuff etc will take me ages to get out. hours actually. everything i do inside is slow n time consuming and it's usually after at least an hour or so till i can get back outside.
i almost didn't have time to go toilet.
when my mad rush was finally done with, and when i totally finish my work and checked the time, it was 6pm!!! time to go home! that's quite amazing lol on the dot finish work.
i quickly packed up and left the office. TIRED!!!!
tomorrow another dreaded day bcos my supervisor told me i've to load files. which mean i'm gonna get stuck in the subtitle rm for hours again. bleh.
when i got home i was starving n gobbled the food my mom placed in front of me.

went shopping yesterday afternoon with a friend to help my friend choose CNY clothes.
saw a shirt i like a lot. XS size, forgot the brand but it was from Tangs. after discount it was $60. expensive. didn't buy. realise fcuk actually have some pretty nice jeans with soft material but expensive. my friend bought one jeans which cost $169 or something like that. i chose it haha.
went to kinokuniya to buy my fantasy novels.

The book is green was $33.60 and the one in red is $29.93.

i think i kena food poisoning. quite bad i guess. i had stomachache since last night bt didn't think it would've gotten this bad and this morn at abt 2+ in the morning i gt woken up by extreme pain frm the churning in my stomach cos it felt so bloated as though my intestine gonna burst or something so i chiong toilet lah stayed in there damn long n had diarrhoea. spare u the explicit n gross detail.
went back to slp c will get bettter or nt end up wake in the morning stomach still pain n visited the toilet. was contemplating whether i SHLD go c a doc n get mc bt then again, i do noe my team gets pretty short handed when i'm absent n work piles up so the sense of responsibility to juz heck n go work nags at me.
feeling lethargic, extremely sleepy and even while i'm already sitting at tanah merah mrt stn n waitin for my train to expo to arrive, i was still thinking if i shld go hm take a rest.
well, train came so i juz board it n went to wrk. at wrk, stomachache didn't stop though it didnt worsen either. went toilet 3 - 4 times already. stomach was bloated this morn so pain.
didnt hv lunch cos no appetite. had some warm water n ching ling bought the wangwang biscuits for me hahaha
gonna go visit the doc after wrk.

realised i havent blogged for a few days hehe
if u haven't noticed, which u SHLD HV, there's a tagboard in my blog nw. ^^ juz got it up n workin yesterday so u guys feel free to invade it. hee i tot the smilies looked real darn cute
i am constantly being 'mothered' at wrk especially durin lunch time cos more than often when i feel that i hv too many tasks to complete or i dun hv appetite to eat, i'll skip lunch and the women in my office n also my supervisor will start fussing over me hahaha today i didn't hv lunch again and my supervisor actually brought over to my desk a bowl of beancurd, two tuppleware, one with soup n the other with noodles. my gosh!! so nice rite? bth lol
my stomach hv been givin me trouble lately so she reckon my lack of appetite was due to dat.
my office ppl r pretty glutton if u ask me hahaha eat non stop. yest after completing a task in the subtitle rm i found two oranges on my keyboard. lol my mgr put one. then the lady nxt to me made strawberry cheesecake so distributed round the dept n i got a slice. damn nice. i simply adore cheesecake!
for this mth i was given 3 stacks of inventory lists to update and 2 more to complete for nxt mth. omost done for this mth's one. eye pain man. one page left! gambarimasu!!!
our office toilet is located rather nearby and besides the normal toilet which is v clean n spacious, there's a handicap toilet n i've noticed something rather peculiar is dat the ang moh(s) in my office like to use handicap toilet be it man or woman. nt too sure why though.
then when i walked back to my office and passed by the pantry, there's a flat screen tv there, saw on channel news asia this man who reminds me of a lecturer in TP!! hahaha >_<;; sekali is him sial!! it's the indian man who taught us contextual marketing or something damn arrogant 1.
today pat's fren was suppose to come on dwn to my office for interview. nt too sure if he did or did he get the job cos was too bz to notice or ask my mgr abt it.
i've read finish the new novel i bought n will be headin dwn to kinokuniya one of these days when i'm free to buy the belgariad series.
currently lookin for a tube top to go with this mango top i intend to get HEE. mom is accompanying me to go get it on friday after i get back hm frm work or somefink.

Self-Obsession!!
hahahaha this happens when I get a little bored before headin out to meet friends. Randomly take lotsa pictures of myself in the hse with mad expressions.
Happened to be home alone on Friday afternoon cos mom went out to meet our neighbour, her friend, downstairs. Funny thing was, because Friday was a public holiday and i didn't have to go to work, yet early in the morning i could hear my dad getting out of his room and walkin into the living room. he was preparing to go to work. in my semi-awake state i tot i had to go to work and was waitin for my alarm to ring in 2 hrs time. somewhere in the midst of falling back to slp and drifting about in dreams, i tot i heard my mom's voice quite clearly, askin me to wake up. when i came to realise it's a public holiday lol i happily snuck back into bed to sleep. fyi, my mom didn't call me at all. Felt pretty nutsy hahaha think i work too hard hahahaha public holiday oso sleep until forget. i actually bought some comics the other day and took it out to read again. it was fuushigi yuugi's prelude - Fuushigi Yuugi Genbukaiden. Mom was like previously telling me about our neighbour's daughter n her spending. she spends pretty unnecessarily or something. by anyway, mom went to let ah girl help wash her hair and commented on the amt of ladies who came dwn to let her do some hair cut or hair dye and ah girl did a pretty neat job. some of these patrons r friends of her brother frm either school or something.

Met up with Lijun and a few others in Orchard at about 3pm on Friday. We were supposed to meet up to watch Phantom of the Opera. I was actually lookin forward to watching this movie cos I've heard quite a number of my friends giving me good feedback about this movie BUT, unfortunately I checked the timing for the movie for the wrong day so end up, we either missed the time slot, or the ticket was sold out. cos the movie has been out for quite some time already, only PS and Lido are currently showing this movie and on friday they happen to have only 1 and 2 timing for the movie respectively. Strange enough, tickets for a 6+ timing at lido was actually sold out! hahah wad luck. anyway we had lunch @ PS before headin o'er to Lido. we gt lazy so took the train dwn n in the mrt while i was standing, a lady who's sittin dwn readin a bk actually dropped her slipper on my foot hahaha i kena stun n she was like pretty embarassed abt it. when we realised tix r nt available in lido cos sold out, we walked ard pretty aimlessly at first till i suggested goin for ice-cream and sat by taka's staircase while eating our ice-cream. ltr part of the day we went over to borders to check out sm bks n meet up with another friend and i bought David Edding's The Redemption of Althalus. Borders havin discount haha i've converted my ERS shares hehehehehehe
BBQ @ St Nicholas, AMK
about 7 i left along with lijun and headed home first. Am supposed to join my relatives and cousins over at AMK, my aunt's semi-detached hse in St Nicholas. We're havin BBQ!! gt hm and mom n dad were waitin for me to get back to go to my aunt's place together and when we reached there it was about 8 thirty or so i guess and they've already started cookin heheh so once we got there we hav ready food to gorge ourselves with. bryan n lionel was sittin on the flr nearby so i joined them n had chicken wings n other stuff like grilled lemon fish, satay stick with hotdog, capsicum, crabmeat and prawn on it. i took all the prawn out n giv bryan eat lol. then we had chicken sticks and salad too. i love the japanese sweet potato. it's beri beri nice!!!! chicken wings was honey glazed. very nice also *smack lips* while we ate we chatted and i was talkin to my cous abt Naruto the anime and it's story cos like the comic i bought is slightly ahead of wad they've managed to watch so far. My aunt added vinegar into the salad making it kinda too sour to my liking hahaha there were other stuff like lamb chop that was being barbequed and we had fruits too. mango and strawberry with whip cream~ after havin stuffing ourself silly with food, my n my cousins played badminton outside. it has been a very long while since i've last played badminton. took sometime to get warmed up and soon, i was getting a hang of it already haha lionel was complainin abt hw i hit the shuttlecock was like aiming at ppl to kill hahahaha after a hot n sweaty exercise, one by one we went to bathe and i read a little of my novel and bryan was using the comp a little before we two started to head to bed at 2am in the morning. the mattress was damn hard to lie on actually haha air con v cold also bt luckily the blanket q thick.
when we woke up in the morning, bryan stretched out to rub my forehead duno for wad hahaha i went dwnstairs first and used the comp for awhile n ate some stuff before headin back upstairs to read my novel. lionel woke up pretty early bt went back upstairs to slp. bryan is still sleeping like a log. in the rm we had me, lionel, and bryan on the flr and my guma (aunt) n uncle william was slpin on the bed. my god, uncle william's snoring was HORRIFYINGLY LOUD n disturbing. i sat n read my novel for v long, and soon it was 1pm before i realised and my aunt came back upstairs to wake the other two pigs up. bryan took damn long to get up. i was attackin him with all the pillow i could find and slamming them at him bt he refused to budge till quite sometime later. for our BRunch, it was very sumptious. we had bread n lotsa sausages, salads, onion rings and also some of the leftover stuff frm yesterday. the bread was tasty. me n my cous stayed in the computer rm n whie they played the comp i was readin my novel and things remained that way till about 4plus 5 where my aunt suddenly suggested goin to Kranji Reservoir area to.............. visit a goat farm. yes u heard me right. GOAT FARM. so random rite!? hahahahaha

Frankly speakin the goats dun smell too great. at one pt when crossin a bridge like area i swear i could've choked n died from the smell hahaha bt things lightened up a little was we proceeded into the area where all the goats r. cute thing was before u even got really close u could hear all the "meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh" from the goats. there were kids (baby goats) around and their calls are super cute!!!!! "meeeh..meeeeh..!" like children voice. my aunt bought packets of dried shrubs n grass frm the ppl in-charge n fed them the goats. we saw a many of the adult goats and there were some that grew up to be reaaaally huge. small ones r cute. some of them had one horn some had none and some was growin so they had bumps sprouting out of their head. full grown adults hv huge curly wurly horns. some of them chewed on the metal railing haha

Umbilical cord still around!! it's very very soft and doesnt have much strength yet. ain't he such a sweetie!? oh btw, lol hand stickin out is my aunt's! This baby kid was super duper cute and had no teeth!! both my aunts reached out to let it nibble on her finger and while u see it tryin to nibble hardworkingly at the fingered stuck at its mouth haha all it was using to chew was its gums cos the teeth have not developed yet! so darn cute! it's nt making much of the meeh meeh yet mebbe cos still v young. c hw its legs r like hanglin in mid air? totally soft man hahaha the men holdin it was one of the in-charged of the place and was telling us how we can hold the kid and take a photo with it.

This is where the battleside is. U can bbq or camp there cos lotsa ppl seems to be doin there but catch is haha, there is a signboard askin u to beware of Crocodiles. yes, u heard me right again. crocs.
See those buildings across the sea? That ain't Singapore no more. It's Malaysia! cool huh! it's damn near frm where I stood and i could see the buildings very clearly. the sea shore was really clean as compared to those we see at east coast or wadever. pasir ris ones were horrible. There was this group of malays bbq at the side and i think they fished their own feed like fish n mussels n stuff n they have loads of it!! the fish were liked piled on the flr which i tot to be really unhygienic and well fish u leave out in the open like that a foul smell will surely follow by soon after.
Nursery
My aunts n lionel went there to buy plants for CNY. I went back to AMK first with bryan n kristi in uncle's car and watched tv while we waited.
before we got home after the kranji outing we actually drove over to serangoon and ate at this vegetarian stall that was simply fantastic. they had mock meat, mock charsiew, mock fried frog leg or something and the thing is, they all taste so great u don't know they r nt meat. esp the frog leg thingy was my favourite. it tasted fantastic. my aunt's lotus seed soup had mock meat inside and i was given a piece of it to try and u noe wad? it taste damn gd and easier to chew than meat itself of course.
so for the past two days it was pretty eventful and finally got hm for some rest and time to relax even though my aunts did ask me to stayover for one more day but i think i'd wan some time to myself haha

I was actually lookin forward to watching this movie cos I've heard quite a number of my friends giving me good feedback about this movie BUT, unfortunately I checked the timing for the movie for the wrong day so end up, we either missed the time slot, or the ticket was sold out. cos the movie has been out for quite some time already, only PS and Lido are currently showing this movie and on friday they happen to have only 1 and 2 timing for the movie respectively. Strange enough, tickets for a 6+ timing at lido was actually sold out! hahah wad luck. anyway we had lunch @ PS before headin o'er to Lido. we gt lazy so took the train dwn n in the mrt while i was standing, a lady who's sittin dwn readin a bk actually dropped her slipper on my foot hahaha i kena stun n she was like pretty embarassed abt it. when we realised tix r nt available in lido cos sold out, we walked ard pretty aimlessly at first till i suggested goin for ice-cream and sat by taka's staircase while eating our ice-cream. ltr part of the day we went over to borders to check out sm bks n meet up with another friend and i bought David Edding's The Redemption of Althalus. Borders havin discount haha i've converted my ERS shares hehehehehehe
BBQ @ St Nicholas, AMK
about 7 i left along with lijun and headed home first. Am supposed to join my relatives and cousins over at AMK, my aunt's semi-detached hse in St Nicholas. We're havin BBQ!! gt hm and mom n dad were waitin for me to get back to go to my aunt's place together and when we reached there it was about 8 thirty or so i guess and they've already started cookin heheh so once we got there we hav ready food to gorge ourselves with. bryan n lionel was sittin on the flr nearby so i joined them n had chicken wings n other stuff like grilled lemon fish, satay stick with hotdog, capsicum, crabmeat and prawn on it. i took all the prawn out n giv bryan eat lol. then we had chicken sticks and salad too. i love the japanese sweet potato. it's beri beri nice!!!! chicken wings was honey glazed. very nice also *smack lips* while we ate we chatted and i was talkin to my cous abt Naruto the anime and it's story cos like the comic i bought is slightly ahead of wad they've managed to watch so far. My aunt added vinegar into the salad making it kinda too sour to my liking hahaha there were other stuff like lamb chop that was being barbequed and we had fruits too. mango and strawberry with whip cream~ after havin stuffing ourself silly with food, my n my cousins played badminton outside. it has been a very long while since i've last played badminton. took sometime to get warmed up and soon, i was getting a hang of it already haha lionel was complainin abt hw i hit the shuttlecock was like aiming at ppl to kill hahahaha after a hot n sweaty exercise, one by one we went to bathe and i read a little of my novel and bryan was using the comp a little before we two started to head to bed at 2am in the morning. the mattress was damn hard to lie on actually haha air con v cold also bt luckily the blanket q thick.
when we woke up in the morning, bryan stretched out to rub my forehead duno for wad hahaha i went dwnstairs first and used the comp for awhile n ate some stuff before headin back upstairs to read my novel. lionel woke up pretty early bt went back upstairs to slp. bryan is still sleeping like a log. in the rm we had me, lionel, and bryan on the flr and my guma (aunt) n uncle william was slpin on the bed. my god, uncle william's snoring was HORRIFYINGLY LOUD n disturbing. i sat n read my novel for v long, and soon it was 1pm before i realised and my aunt came back upstairs to wake the other two pigs up. bryan took damn long to get up. i was attackin him with all the pillow i could find and slamming them at him bt he refused to budge till quite sometime later. for our BRunch, it was very sumptious. we had bread n lotsa sausages, salads, onion rings and also some of the leftover stuff frm yesterday. the bread was tasty. me n my cous stayed in the computer rm n whie they played the comp i was readin my novel and things remained that way till about 4plus 5 where my aunt suddenly suggested goin to Kranji Reservoir area to.............. visit a goat farm. yes u heard me right. GOAT FARM. so random rite!? hahahahaha

Frankly speakin the goats dun smell too great. at one pt when crossin a bridge like area i swear i could've choked n died from the smell hahaha bt things lightened up a little was we proceeded into the area where all the goats r. cute thing was before u even got really close u could hear all the "meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh" from the goats. there were kids (baby goats) around and their calls are super cute!!!!! "meeeh..meeeeh..!" like children voice. my aunt bought packets of dried shrubs n grass frm the ppl in-charge n fed them the goats. we saw a many of the adult goats and there were some that grew up to be reaaaally huge. small ones r cute. some of them had one horn some had none and some was growin so they had bumps sprouting out of their head. full grown adults hv huge curly wurly horns. some of them chewed on the metal railing haha

Umbilical cord still around!! it's very very soft and doesnt have much strength yet. ain't he such a sweetie!? oh btw, lol hand stickin out is my aunt's! This baby kid was super duper cute and had no teeth!! both my aunts reached out to let it nibble on her finger and while u see it tryin to nibble hardworkingly at the fingered stuck at its mouth haha all it was using to chew was its gums cos the teeth have not developed yet! so darn cute! it's nt making much of the meeh meeh yet mebbe cos still v young. c hw its legs r like hanglin in mid air? totally soft man hahaha the men holdin it was one of the in-charged of the place and was telling us how we can hold the kid and take a photo with it.

This is where the battleside is. U can bbq or camp there cos lotsa ppl seems to be doin there but catch is haha, there is a signboard askin u to beware of Crocodiles. yes, u heard me right again. crocs.
See those buildings across the sea? That ain't Singapore no more. It's Malaysia! cool huh! it's damn near frm where I stood and i could see the buildings very clearly. the sea shore was really clean as compared to those we see at east coast or wadever. pasir ris ones were horrible. There was this group of malays bbq at the side and i think they fished their own feed like fish n mussels n stuff n they have loads of it!! the fish were liked piled on the flr which i tot to be really unhygienic and well fish u leave out in the open like that a foul smell will surely follow by soon after.
Nursery
My aunts n lionel went there to buy plants for CNY. I went back to AMK first with bryan n kristi in uncle's car and watched tv while we waited.
before we got home after the kranji outing we actually drove over to serangoon and ate at this vegetarian stall that was simply fantastic. they had mock meat, mock charsiew, mock fried frog leg or something and the thing is, they all taste so great u don't know they r nt meat. esp the frog leg thingy was my favourite. it tasted fantastic. my aunt's lotus seed soup had mock meat inside and i was given a piece of it to try and u noe wad? it taste damn gd and easier to chew than meat itself of course.
so for the past two days it was pretty eventful and finally got hm for some rest and time to relax even though my aunts did ask me to stayover for one more day but i think i'd wan some time to myself haha

suddenly remembered something which i totally forgot to blog about. nothing spectacular actually.
i bumped into Slyvester Sim outside Cineleisure on Monday. yes yes, it's so many days ago lol bt was readin the newsppr todae n saw his picture.
hm he does dress UP quite abit with that huge black sun glasses. dun look too bad in person but haha 'english educated ah beng' is normally wad i'll describe him as. he was with a lady friend. duno who she is so shant 'gossip' ahahaha
was watching the new season of audition for the american idol on channel 5 last night. so hilarious some of the contestants. but there were a few good ones i noticed so hm let's just see how this season's contestants will perform on the big stage.
was watching the National Geographic channel randomly (happen to switch channels till there). Do u guys know why the govt changed our notes (money) frm ppr to plastic? I mean for wad reason. Frankly speakin i don't know and never really questioned it till i saw this documentary and realised that it's bcos by using this plastic notes instilled with technology stuff, it's highly effecient in preventing counterfeit. so far as much as 14 or so countries have adopted this method.

sorry for the lack of updates lately. been lazy to type cos return late most of the time and when i sit in front of the comp i lazy to type haha
well let's see, been bz at work cos all the assignments n stuff. system was goin thro an upgradin so rather irritatin cos v slow haha feel like smackin it sometimes.
spent the whole day in the subtitle rm yesterday till i finish work uploadin subtitle files up into our server and spotted mistakes n had to email the vendors in taiwan about the errors to get them to send me back revised files.
after work i didn't head straight home. instead, i went to bugis junction n met up with my friend for chit chat and stuff and we were like sitting in starbucks chatting away and she bought maki roll and tea from cold storage while i had tori-q. xcessorize was havin sale and so she finally gotten the bag at 70% discount and she was tellin me that she eyed the bag from like since last summer. Fox Women was havin sale too. long sleeve tops at ten bucks so she went into to grab some tops and end up with a red top which she eyed for q long since the last time i shopped there with her. it's always fun n comfortable to chat with her haha
will be headin out with ljiun n a few others for movie and stuff this week. haha she's askin me to wear that white dress out cos i think she'll wear something formalish or at least, dress-sy hahaha cos she's havin early lunch with her mom.
now that yifeng's lesson schedule allows her to be free on weekends and mon to tuesday, hehehehe can ask her hang out and stay over at muh place.
sunday i went for the singapore vs indonesia match. it was my first soccer match and i was kinda excited and proud of our country (cos we won!!! muahahahaha) and my gosh when i left the mrt stn, the street was juz simply flooded with ppl wearin red tshirts. lol felt like NDP machiam.
stayed behind to see our team lift the trophy. lotsa cash money was awarded to them man. the experience was interestin cos of the 'kallang wave' and taunts u hear from singaporeans to the indonesians and also lol "REFEREE KAYU!!" was always heard. lotsa other comments and gestures and reactions were interesting to observe.

i observed the changes in the sky.. the clouds.. the colours and on sunday, the weather was simply beautiful.
i had a gd day that day.

hahah surprise surprise! actually saw my colleague, ching ling, wear a denim one piece dress to work hahahaha stun until cannot stun. she like boy basically so normally onli c her in jeans n stuff haha actually i hv one too hahaha stuffed somewhere in my closet mebbe one fine day dig it out to wear to work.
i wonder sekali one fine day see hailoon wear dress also lol i sure stun also. still cant believe she 24. she dun even look like it. mebbe cos of her hair n dressing hahaha alwaiz in polo tee n jeans with her short dyed hair. make me wonder hw old daniel is. he sorta sits opp me, nxt to my supervisor. he q small size. bt he look..duno leh can be young can be old. sekali overshot 30!! whoa! i sure pengz hahahahaha bt i heard frm supervisor he has been with the company for more than 4 - 5 years and is v experienced with his job n more capable than most of the leaders ard. wooo.. occasionally i see the IT head, Mr Tai, walk ard the office haha or sit in his own glass office. yest he bully me with bah kua. *sob* i took a bigger piece want to share with wenya end up she has one so i wan to return be he dun wan then i offer to other ppl he faster giv them bah kua so dat they cant take frm me n i bo bian must eat all.. *sobz*
today my sick mgr got back to work. she is v chatty n the quiet office (during her absence) became extremely noisy hahaha and i'll owaz hear her voice somewhere behind me and one moment it's about scripts the nxt moment about recipes then before i left work i remember her tokin abt ordering siew mai.. hahahahahahaha bth. majority of the ppl in my dept r married women with kids with one pregnant woman in the midst of them all. typical topics hanged ard their mouths for their daily conversations.
i actually saw a familiar figure sitting somewhere in the mrt on my way back home while i was chatting with ching ling (she lives near me). took a closer look and my oh my it's our dear shue hui!! hahahaha my dear poly mate! she's workin for SIA as a temp clerk for now. haha i haven't seen her for ages.
actually today was suppose to esplanade with a friend. but meet at 8pm i v sian cos i finish work at 6 haha meet at 8 like late n leceh. so decide to head hm n relax, use comp, watch tv, take a looooooooong bathe.

my office!!! muahahaha
finally i'm in the office earlier than anyone else and there's no one ard and i managed to take a shot of my office (my dept). Nice? hehehehehe the aircon there damn cold must wear jacket if nt cannot make it.
technically the whole of Discovery is on third level and in the photo is just part of it lah. there are still many other operational departments and obviously my single photo cannot capture it. merely like a small percentage nia.
i had pineapple rice for lunch todae. the presentation and serving v power and they gave us soup on the side. tomyam. v nice!!! the ingredient damn generous also but i couldn't finish my rice hahaha v full. finish half plate only. then i had a cup orange juice *act healthy*

went on a shopping spree today cos mom sponsor me after she won money from mahjong game hahahaha
spent hours walkin along orchard visiting shops that were having sales and lookin for jeans but end up shops like ZARA, MANGO and TOPSHOP either dun hv jeans or their jean's cutting dun fit me. shucks. hehe but luckily, managed to find a good pair of jeans at far east and it fits v well. abit long though so nid to alter.
i first went to heeren then taka, then wisma, then far east followed by wheelock and back to wisma.
from taka's future state i bought a top at $29. gd for occasions, or party etc etc. rather lacey haha it's beige in colour.
second item bought was the jeans. i browsed alot of shops for a good sneaker or footwear but the one i fancy was gone and the rest didn't catch my eye.
went to wheelock's substance to check out the heels i saw with yifeng yest and tried it out deciding whether or nt i should buy it. aesthetically, it's very nice. can wear to work also. but, to be practical, i decided not to buy that pair of heels for namely three reason. no slip-proof sole, in fact no sole at all. front is pointed thus makin toes constricted causing discomfort. lastly, cos toe constricted and with the high heels make bone of the sole of my feet get very strained and based on past experience with lousy heels, you simply know u'll suffer if u were to wear that heel and walk ard. saw another pair of heel but no size. ceh.

end up no bus go home and no money take cab cos i have onli like $5 in my wallet with some coins. lazy to draw frm atm so took bus 65 (heng still gt) to eunos link and took a cab from there hahaha cab fare $6. after that wallet empty liao~
i was supposed to meet up with yifeng for dinner. bus the stupid bus was late!!! even though i got down earlier i don't know why the stupid 36 took so long to come todae and end up, the bus arrived only at 6.50. sure late. so smsed yifeng to let her know and geez.. traffic jam. end up lagi more late bth so got off the bus and walked all the way to wisma to find yifeng.
coincidentally while i was on 36 still, i saw yan ting outside the bus at suntec hahaha she was with her gf and both of them boarded the bus i'm on and then further down reaching city hall area, wylyn n her bf boarded the bus hahaha now i have two separate friends boarding the same bus as me sia
anyway when i met up with yifeng she said i killed her hahaha cos she's starving. topshop was having sale and gosh i saw lotsa jeans selling cheap but no time to shop cos yifeng starvin hahah so both of us made our way to far east and had tom yam at this muslim food eatery. the tom yam was spicy n gd. love the wanton. might come back nxt time. spent sometime there eating and chatting away.
after we're done with eating we walked over to Lido's MANGO outlet. they are havin 70% discount! but nothing i fancy was available so both of us made our way to ZARA. it was actually around 9 plus by then so most of the shops have already closed. we managed to walk ard zara for awhile and i saw lotsa nice jeans but no more trying! shucks... cos of the hours.. aiyah damn sian hahahaha then me n feng got out. we went into wheelock the building where borders is. at first we wanted to go marks n spencer haha cos yifeng still wanna find that biscuit which she didn't manage to the last time we went out hahaha i was joking abt the 'wad if' especially if the fellah was to tell her they discontinued that brand hahahaha we went into this shoe shop call substance. the shoes there are normally very expensive. eighty over dollars. there have been a pair of heels i've been eyeing for a very very long time but didn't buy. today the shop has a 50% discount! went inside n browsed for very long. me n yifeng was trying out many of the shoes and so tempted to just buy something back hahahaha soon we left and walked over to wisma bt top shop closed has so we walked over to find yifeng's friends in wheelock's NYDC. was chatting n stuff til it was nearly 11.45pm dats when me n yifeng decided to rush for transport home.
okie. time to head to bed!

THANK GOD IT'S FRIDAY!

back to the feeling of thrill and excitement when weekend approaches. hee!
damn bz at work today hahaha was given lotsa things to complete bt thank goodness i did manage to finish quite abit but still have some more stuff to complete and deadline is nxt week! o.O;;
today so bz at work no time reply to smses and noe wad? i didn't even go for lunch. hahaha
stayed behind to finish my stuff. never-ending man haha have to create new files and as i 'beautified' my folder's dividers by applying scotch tape to prevent wear n tear my supervisor fancies that idea and told me to do the same for the rest of our folders. wah liao eh. hahaha basket.
my desk damn messy with ppr and file and pen and all sorts of stationary.

My job is a normal 8 hour, 5 day work week job and my office is DAMN HUGE, DAMN NICE, DAMN MANY STRANGE COUNTRY PPL and have a pond with a SUPER BIG KOI FISH!!! lol located near expo at the changi business park. i'm doing some administrative position but alot of things to be in-charged of and will work there for six months so hahaha wish me luck! stress cos lotsa things to do but fun! my supervisor is from China but she lives in sg with a husband and daughter and besides normal singaporeans, in my dept there's actually a japanese, a korean, a thai and indian hahahaha so 'international' ne~! and of course nt to forget, ang moh(s) as well.
wad the best part about this job is can dress SLACK! of cos i'm nt tokin abt flip flops and berms and t-shirt that looks like a rag. jeans and t-shirt is acceptable in the office! wah shiok! then no nid wear office wear wah lagi best!
for the past 4 days at work (i've started work this week), i've learnt lotsa stuff. kinda brain overload but i'm trying to cope as well as i can. thank god supervisor very patient and nice. everyday go work and walk by the pond i'll go look at the koi pond and try to spot my giant koi fish. i swear i'm gonna go take a pic of it one fine day and post it up. it's really DAMN big. i didn't even know koi fish can grow up to that huge.
kinda paiseh to take camera take pic of office like some swakoo kid hahaha so i wun update pics of my office yet. but koi fish koi fish!! lol it's yellow in colour ne! mebbe i try to spot see if got other big big koi swimming ard that i've missed out.

Nobody Knows
This movie was inspired by a real event known as the "Affair of the Four Abandoned Children of Nishi-Sugamo". This affair happened 16 years ago, in 1988. Born of different fathers, these children never went to school and didn't legally exist because their births were never declared. Abandoned by their mother, they lived on their own for six months. The death of the youngest girl put a tragic end to this adventure. Curiously, not one inhabitant of the building was aware of the existence of three of the children.
This headline brought up various questions to my mind ... The life of those children couldn't have been only negative. There must have been a richness other than material, based on those moments of understanding, joy, sadness and hope. So I didn't want to show the "hell" as seen from the outside, but the "richness" of their life as seen from inside.

havent been feeling too great lately especially because of the weather. it has been raining alot these few days. the only thing which i probably enjoyed was the cooling temperature.
saw on the newspaper a good review on this japanese movie titled Nobody Knows, which in japanese is 誰も知らない(daremo shiranai) to view words in diff lang that appears as codes, change encoding to Unicode.
it's not really publicised in singapore except being in the papers and having read the sypnosis n that this movie won an award in the cannes, i've decided to give it a shot.
realised sano wanted to watch this movie too so we arranged to watch it today. it's screened only in cineleisure.
we were supposed to meet up at 4pm and i reached orchard and met up with sano and his ex-NLB colleague. a lady name yong cheng or something. ^^ she's rather friendly and easy to chat with. sano wore his new bought sleeveless top today. something i hardly see him wear haha
the three of us headed down to cuppage first where yong cheng had her lunch and we chatted a little. sano found the newly located diamond dust ktv (japanese ktv) haha we started remembering the times we had our outings and stuff there. memories. for me, they r bittersweet. feel alittle tempted to go singing inside but the charges quite steep..
as we moved on towards orchard, we went into takashimaya and kinokuniya to jalan around for awhile. yong cheng was waiting to meet up with a friend of hers. there was the same long queue at the cashier bcos of the 20% discount available for members.. basket. lol soon when we reached the comic bk section yong cheng's friend arrived hahaha some awkwardness in the air sensed. duno why she blushin alot but *shrugs* ahaha
as me n sano cont to hang ard kino inside for awhile i started feeling bored cos there wasnt really much of anything to see than the usuals (of cos we did flip thro some elementary japanese readin bks about elephants LOL and this umi 'sea' that ate up omost everything) n so we went dwnstairs to the basement where the foodcourt is. on our way dwn hehe we happen to slip into Zara and a few other shops to see see look look at the clothes inside. now i've taken some mental note on some shops that sells nice workin clothes in taka. hee
i let sano tried the cheeseballs (sausages with cheese made into ball like forms/cut into pieces at various price range) and hehe i think i got him addicted to eating it already cos it's very tasty. but the reason why i dragged him to the food court in the first place was actually to eat the SU-PA KAPU lol green tea ice cream i had the other day. we bought one to share and i'm glad he likes it. we actually took v long to finish the ice cream lol frm eat in taka until eat in wisma then finish.
i went back to the shop where i saw a top i liked alot in wisma during the shopping trip i made alone the other day. no more discount!!! *Cries* the piece i like was still there and i was so so so tempted to buy it but i noe the other time i tried it, the reason i didn't buy it was bcos the back was too low (nt that i dun dare to bare my back bt my bra!!! aiyah sian) hahahaha the top was $49 and i realised that there was a matching skirt and it was $59. well no harm trying hahaha so i went into the fitting room to try the piece. i really love it lor. it was brown in colour. i duno how to describe the material bt wearin the top and the skirt together makes it capable to be worn during a formal occasion bt also for parties. the skirt i took size S. unfortunately the top was left with only one piece and it's a size M. i think if i had size S it would've been a better fit. like i said, M the strap was too long and the back went a little too low thus revealin the bra. nt nice. argh!!!!
from infront you don't see the problem and the top, my gawd. make me so tempted to buy can!? when i step out alittle frm the changin rm to show sano hahah sano's reaction was unforgettable man.. lol!!! struck lottery also wun get so lucky to see his expression hahahaha at first he didn't hv a good look. when i came out into full view he stoned, eyes bulged and actually gasped. cant believe he actually gasped. at first i tot wad v ugly. then he say v nice. lol think he first time see me in a somewhat gown. he also felt it a pity that the back of the top didn't go well. hahaha he wanted to taunt me into buying it also
anyway i walked to the other shops and a few tops here and there caught my eye but soon it was nearly time for the movie to start so we hurried to cine.
the movie was.... good. it touched my heart. it's sad to know that wadever happened in the movie, it was a real life event. the scenes r fictatious but the happenings, as in parents just abandoning their children to survive on their own at such a young age is for real. the death of the little girl.. it was filmed through the eyes of children where emotions over the death is not realised besides the fact that she is gone. the audience too, watched in silence. children do not feel the immense grief over the passing of their sibling but watch in confusion. though the movie was onli 2 hrs, it felt as it we were watching it forever. the leadin boy 'akira' is very nice lookin i must say. the little girl was very cute. i like all the children in the movie for a fact.
if u haf the time, i'll recommend u people to go watch it. it's available only in cineleisure. just a summary basically there's this mother who has 4 children and have recently moved into a new apartment. mom found a bf. all the four children i doubt they shared the same father. akira, the eldest was 12 years old and his dad works in haneda airport. second daughter is kyoko, third son is (forgot the name!!), and youngest cute lil girl age 5 is yuki. mom works in a departmental store and comes home late at night. the children are all very guai and the two eldest ones will tend the hse. buy grocery, do laundy, take care of the younger siblings. they dun get to go to school but revises and does self-studying at home. mom thinks it's nt necessary although the children obviously yearns to go to school. mom found 'new love' and was trying to see if she could get married and find 'happiness' and perhaps have the children move in with her to a bigger apartment. but she did nt mention to her new love abt the existence of her children. soon mom disappears sayin she'll be back later and leavin money behind for the children to take care of themselves. at first mom leaves for a month and returns. soon, mom leaves again and this time, she didnt return. there was no time indication. it has been many months the mom left and is not believed to return. the children have little money left. the house is in a mess. electricity and water supply has been terminated. the children live.. everyday.. by collectin water from the nearby park's tap, wear old and dirty unwashed clothes.. ate instant noodles.. or leftover sushi given to them by the kind convenience store shop assistant...
after the movie we had dinner at KFC. there was a funny incident there. sano took out an APPLE to eat after he finished his meal. yes damn random. funny thing was when i left to wash my hands, obviously sano eatin apple would gather attention and curiousity from those sittin around us where one table nxt to us the guy looked at sano lol they were pretty stunned and quite candid, one of the guy was like greeting sano by raising his chicken lol sano returned his greeting by raising his apple hahahahahaha lame sial when we left and was outside, separated frm the people by a glass panel, the guy greet sano again and sano greeted him with his hand, holdin the apple. HAHAHA bth!
we walked on dwn to heeren bt most of the shops were closed. didn't realise it's 10+ already. so we decided to walk dwn to tang's bus stop where i can go hm by bus and sano by train. i bumped into katherine my ex-secondary schoolmate outside lucky plaza.
